Hi Guys,
I'm looking at making a range of carbon fibre poles and getting new clamps designed and manufactured.
But before this I am going to make a 60ft carbon fibre pole with a twist lock clamp. If any one uses this type of pole, please let me have any feedback as to what you prefer; a good pole diameter, section length, hose up centre or outside, carry case etc etc....
Feel free to email me at info@clearvuesolutions.co.uk
I want all my poles to be the best for window cleaners designed by window cleaners, if you guys won't buy them because they are not good enough, why bother!!
I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

at 60' a modular pole would be my choice,.. the lighter the better.

Hi Jezz don't want to put a damper on things but be very careful before investing large amounts of money. You are already years behind window cleaners designing poles for window cleaners, so you have quite a bit of catching up to do. There are different types of carbon tubes out there, and manufacturers of carbon poles will try and sell you anything.

Thanks for your advice Peter.
Im only at the researching stage and getting prices for poles and clamps etc...
I hear what people are saying about others trying the same thing, but how many companies can you get this kind of pole from currently, up to 8 ish in the UK.
What's available is pretty good, but there's always ways to improve.
Im not prepared to start throwing thousands at it (I am only 22 by the way), but I'm seriously look into it.
I think some people are scared to try sometimes, I'm not.... yet.

Most of the manufacturers are based abroad, not difficult to find if you look in the right places.
Most companies only ship by the container full, so you will certainly need a lot of cash input and will need a lot of storage space also.
Then you will need the goosenecks and brushes, tubing and other fittings etc.
I organised the original blue facelift poles for Phil Smith many years ago, it was a very expensive hobby, and difficult to source good suppliers of other bits and pieces.
The tubing in my opinion MUST be on the inside.
Clamps need to be simple to use, and should be adjustable.
Goosenecks need to be available in different sizes.
Brushes need to be available in different sizes.
Pencil Jets

Microbore?
Good luck and try and think of a good name for them and do your marketing research before you stock up on product.
