whats the form with these craftex machines ? i tried one once but it didnt feel pro to be honest, does anyone use them out there ?
-
I have owned one of these machines along with prochem and ashbys machines and they mostly have the same power etc.The prochem and ashbys machine feel professional and polish up really well but unfortunately the craftex machine marks far too easily and the clips, hose etc give them a slightly done on the cheap feel(just my opinion).Regards Alan(swindon)

Does it honestly matter if they mark yet do the job?
Honestly not having a go but it's surely just a carpet cleaning machine and do looks matter as long as the working parts are in good order.
I have powerflite machine that I think is great but it's no supermodel looks wise.

Yorky Yes the machine does the job but the feel of it hoses, wands etc arent as good as the standard machines like prochem and ashbys.I also had a powerflite for 3 years and it was very solid and i had many customers saying how big and impressive it looked. The end of the day as with all things is if it suits you then use it and if it doesnt then dont.I personally think the powerflite is far better than the craftex in many ways and felt really right for me.Regards Alan(swindon)

To be honest Alan it was more just about it getting marked up although I guess obviously if it does mark up it's probably a sign of poor quality plastics. The Powerflite is solid, maybe too much when your lumping it up three flights of stairs. :)

thanks gents, i thought that would be the opinion out there, the wand trigger kept nipping my finger and it was a bloody pig to lift in and out of the van !i use a powr flite now but still keep my ninja for 2 unit jobs and i still reckon ashbys take some beating.
