Title: lazy start ups.
Post by: richard jagger on February 03, 2011, 07:19:48 pm
With all respect to the guys wanting help. BUT I do think is a bit cheeky wanting to be spoon fed every fact with out doing a bit of research of your own by reading back date issues on the subject in the forum. Not only will you find the answer to your question but also learn more of the diamond tips of this industry. Don’t be lazy and earn your knowledge of were you will earn your money. Sorry Guys but I am tired of newbies looking for a free ride.

Just point them in the right direction mate.

Saves you getting hacked off and them wasting time waiting for answers. Everyone's a winner then.

Yes mate, but it's the closest the forum has to an A to Z. I think the window cleaning coach is top notch though. The guy who runs it has kept it easy to understand and covers just about everything.

. When I joined this forum under a different name at that time as I left at one point due to all the non sense at times. But I was so keen to do well that I  read every posting on this site at that time. I think if I remember it was 700 posting. And the many tricks of the trade I found were quite amazing.  Many of the thread on the early days discussed things that are taboo in these times. The chaps are not stupid they don’t tell all the secrets in these times.  ;) ;)

Sean try asking how to get into commercial work and see how little info you will get. There are things you will get no answers for. Its secrets mate which we keep for ourselves once we learn them. So don’t say there is none. Take the glasses off and the muffs of the ears.

There is a saying...............'Work smarter, not harder' Thats all what these new guys are doing. Rather than spending time looking up answers, it is quicker to ask. Thats not being lazy, its just being more productive with their time.
Of course, I recommend doing research as well though to back up the advise you get.

the godsend i heard of .learnt of on here on this very forum  is the WAGTAIL SQUEEGEE .

i might well have given up by now if i had struggled on with the rubbish i was using before . i see quite a few other windies ,as you do,  slogging on with a small unger fixed squeegee and thank christ i found the holy grail of squeegees . i forget who it was on here who informed me of this hallowed squeegee but it was a turning point for me ,though i didnt know it at the time

There actually is an A - Z on another forum.
I would happily link to it but it's against this forum's rules.
