hi all, just a quickie regarding my boster pump,i have been wfp,ing for last 3 years,,,,Because i have a low water pressure in my area, i have a poster pump to up the pressure,,now this may seem strange but i,ve noticed that when the pump kicks in [i have a timer running 15mins on and then 15off] the pressure drops off rather than going up,it runs at 40psi when pump off and then drops to 30 when pump on ?????? any ideas out there,, i do flush a few times a week and the filters and pre filters are all new. I think i can recall that this wasn,t the way it was when i fitted it all together in the first place but i,m not sure thanks kev

a small question why on 15 of 15.that pump can come on for longer its should go ff when the transformer get hot I run my pump for 12 hour at a time.
next thing are you measuring the psi after the pump? or after the membranes.at what POINT DO YOU MEASURE YOUR PSI? THE PUMP SHOULD BE 80 PSI PUMP FOR BOOSTER PUMP.? Is your pump cutting out due to the auto switch on the pump? How thick are your pipes on the plant.?

Thats one of the worst things you can do to your membrane...raising and lowering the pressure. It needs to be pretty much constant.
