got this off altec today...
ALLTEC are pleased to be exclusively launching the Cheetah Pads at the Cleaning Show (Stand F1) on the 1st of March 2011 ... you can use them on the stand as the inventor Dana Kothrade will be giving demos. You can scratch our stone floor and see how in just a few minutes we can restore the tiles to a better-than-new finish.
anyone know what its all aboot.
will find out at the show i suppose but thought i dig a little as i'm intrigued.

I've been receiving emails since Xmas about these,
http://www.alltec.co.uk/page/1smld/Hard_Floor.html
as a guess I would say they cost a fortune as they cost of the pads is never mentioned ;) ;)
but they do look very interesting

I have asked Alltec a few times for them but not luck. :'(
They must be keeping them for those paying for a course.
They will work as well as any other resin based diamond based system.
European in origin I believe.
I bet they are about £500 for a set.

Are these a variation/copy of the pads advertised in C&M.
They contain thousands of tiny diamonds and you can shine up a floor with nothing other than the pad itself......going to be expensive then, and unless you've got the marble floor to do in the Ritz probably not going to be cost effective.

These are very different from the likes of the Twister, KGS Flexis & 3M impregnated floor pads.
Those are best for maintenance imo. Not refinishing works.

$500 so probably £500 plus ::)

Re: Cheetah Hard Floor Pads
The spinergy pads / Monkey pads / Viper pads are going to give someone new to the stone and marble care business good results. Restoring a floor with resin bonded diamonds or metal bars takes a lot more practice and experience but will give more clarity.
I've found that most clients want the floors to look good at a reasonable price. Spinergy pads deliver that. The untrained eye won't see the difference in clarity unless something specific is pointed out. But a trained stone guy will pick up the difference. What the pad delivers is perfectly fine for a great majority of the clients.
Cheetah pads are a faster and more aggressive version of Spinergy pads. They are designed more for concrete polishing than marble or natural stone.

Hi all
these are only a maintence pad and if a marble stone floor isnt to bad
maybe they will do the trick. Remenber its easy to make a marble floor
shiney. What you are looking for is depth and clarity in the finish
this takes a little longer
If you want a marble floor restored to new or better then you need
proper metal bond and resin bond diamonds.
after this a proper planaterio machine will give the best results as it has the
speed and power to drive the diamond abrisives.
When you have this you will need a lot of practice on different floors
to be able to do stone restoration.
This course by alltec and veriouse other companys are only for starters
you will not come away from this cousre and go into full stone restoration
they sound good and try to make it look easy to sell more pads and courses
but sadley are far from the truth
