as title suggests
I have an hf5 4040 and looking to improve its performance.
My tap pressure is around 50 psi, although it produces pretty quick I still get 32 ppm product from a supply of 260 ppm from the tap.
Some of these pumps seem to cost about the same as the membrane, unfortunately too costly for me right now, are there cheaper pumps out there that I could try ?
thanks, Simon

I have 375 in with 70 out but my membrane is pretty shot .. I use a 100 psi shuffle as a booster .. So I have feed in to carbon and sediment then boost in the ro .
Been doing huis for 4 years or so now plus sand membrane
It's a 5.2 l min 100 psi did have a 6 ltr pee min before but that died .
Cracked in the cold .

Thats a great pump, i have one, but its not suitable for a booster pump. Its not high enough pressure and also its not rated for contimuous use.
Look at something like this........
