just checked myn purfreedom flow rate and its setting 12 for 1ltr per min and 35 for 2 ltr per minute
What litre per minute flow rate do you find gives constantly good results on maintance cleans
-
i use at least 2lpm, probably a bit more..
-
that seems about right steve did a 1 lpm but the results were crap was trying a quick wishy washy till she complained bugger had to do again
-
I use a bit over 2 litres a minute & very rarely have quality of clean issues.
-
Dont shoot the messenger but.... ......http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1351428/Britain-faces-dry-spell-worse-infamous-drought-1976.html .........maybe we could use less water ?
-
i use about 1.8 litre per min to 2L anything less seems to take quite long to rinse
-
Erith what controller you using?
I have the variflow from purefreedom, I have it set at 60. I find this to be my optimum setting, when you start out have it a bit less until you get your speed up.

I run at full flow no controller ;)
-
What feels comfortable to work with,
For example if its to slow, its frustrating, feels like your not rinsing off properly
to fast and your water just goes down the drain.
1.5-----2L per min.

I'm glad someone else on this forum has some sense, pump runs at full speed for me too.
why scrimp on water, its so cheap.
-
I find 1.5 Lpm is plenty for regularly cleaned small to medium sized windows.
-
i have got a purefreedom flow master digi-fm i think i will try setting 30 for maintanace cleans and 60 for first clean and see how it goes :)
-
Your controller setting can't be used as an accurate gauge of flow rate. Different pumps, hose bore, different fittings restricting flow, different jet sizes & types etc etc all have an impact. 1 person might get the same flow with a setting of 20 that another does with a setting of 80.

Not a matter of scrimping on water, its a matter of not using all your water up before the days up!

then get a bigger tank. Average pump 5 L per min x 1hr = 300L per hr.
900L in 3hr Not good for an 8hr day. might as well buy a tank with holes in it!
