Had 2 of them today ... both new customers
No1 ... dormer bungerlow so few windows upstairs .. explains wfp to the old dear "oooo lovely" says her ... tells her a second time about old soap may possibly leach out for first few cleans from d/glazing rubbers then it will all be gone .... "what about when my current cleaner does them the old fashioned way" thought u didnt have a cleaner "oh yes had em 22 years and will be having him as well as you" :o :o :o "but he dont like ladders and slopey roofs so thats why Im having you as well" ::) ... errr ok says me .... think i may have to trad the downstairs on this one
No2 ... does the clean no problem he comes out to pay me with his works rota in his hand "right then how about 2pm Feb 25th for next visit as Im off that afternoon" mmmm cant work like that I explains work load / weather etc etc ... turns out he was worrying about paying me :) .. no worries I tells him explains about cheques or online payment ... tells him I will leave the details in his post box (outside front door as no letter box) ... then he says "what if someones nicks his post and then they will have my bank info ??? ... told him I will take the risk

I have a job like this, she has had the other guy years so wont sack him but wants her dormers done, so I go every month and do the lot, he I presume goes once a month and does the ground floor. Crazy, but its her money so who am I to argue ;D

i too once had a job which involved cleaning only the windows above the slopey roof and kepted his original ladder guy for the rest of the house cos he had him for 20 years

I clean the windows of a trannie and I have to call him/her either Mr Jacobs or Clarabelle depending on what he/she is wearing.
When he's Mr Jacobs he's a normal 50 year old bloke. When she's Clarabelle, jeepers, outlandish doesn't describe it and she has to have Mozart or something similar playing loudly while the windows get cleaned.
But he/she pays well and I always get non stop cups of tea.

I clean the windows of a trannie and I have to call him/her either Mr Jacobs or Clarabelle depending on whether he/she is wearing a little bell around her neck.

nearly stopped laughing at the last post,claribelle is that a name of like a jersery cow?-with a wet nose?could do with one of those custies to brighten the day up-could even take take the wife with me to share make-up tips! ;D ;D ;D
