Title: Scrubber Drier
Post by: Griffus on January 24, 2011, 06:21:05 pm
I am looking at either purchasing or leasing (3 years) a Srubber-Drier suitable for a total area of 288 square metres per time.

Safety flooring to walkways and wetrooms but also standard PVC sheet to Kitchen / Canteen. Multiple access restrictions to consider, benches, canteen tables etc.

I tend to favour Numatic as this is all I've ever used but open to suggestions.

Happy for the machine to be cabled, infact I prefer it.

Looking for recommendations on type / model but also sound leasing companies / deals.

Thanks in advance

You might already know of them - look for machines2clean

They might be able to help or possibly have a used one in stock.

Stcks of used ones about , and with most having robust and easy to swap parts , leasing would be a very expensive way to go about it.

Be careful when buying battery machines.

Some can cost £1000 to replace.

A damaged battery can also cause the charger to fail.

Its a bit like electric mobility scooters.

Cheap to buy second hand, expensive to get running.

Yep, that's why I prefer cabled.

Easier to lift, longer run time etc, etc.

It's what I would choose too.

IMO it's not worth getting a self propelled machine either.

Too much to go wrong.
