hi i use to have the di in the shed but i'm thinking to put it in the van but not sure where to put it.is it between the pump and the hosereel?thanks

i do di(used resin) - Tank - Pump - Di (fresh resin) - Hose
i save money this way as i dont discard fresh resin when it start getting past 003ppm instead it goes to pre tank to bring the tank tds down

Yeah, mine is also twin DI. Mine are just next to each other. tank>pump>DI (used resin)>DI (fresh resin)>reel. ;)

exactly what i do. i found when i done the twin method before with the dis next to eachother there was great water pressure if i unclipped the hose lock

Flow Rate Vs volume is a major factor in increased resin life. Blasting water through your resin at full mains pressure will shorten it's "effective" life - especially the used resin vessel! Water pumped through the vessels has a much better "effective" life due to the much lower flow rate resulting in the resin holding a low tds for much longer- Essential in a twin DI system!!!!
If you put the vessels in sequence after the pump you'll notice a much improved resin life.

i thought i was gonna get a free resin saving tip then . but it seems not . yes i do have my twin di before my tank , but i have my tap on trickle . taking 12 hours to fill . but only taking 7 hours to empty when working . i hate being right all the time ;D ;D ;) ;)

Why?
Why not just have the vessels on the van & fill your tank in 10 mins direct from tap?

you just answered it in your previous post, flow rate is a major factor in increased resin life . and my flow rate going through the resin is slower than what comes through the brush . so i get as much life out of my resin as possible . ;) my outside tap is set at this rate all the time , ;)

That doesn't answer my question Barry?
Why spend 7 hours filling a tank when it could be done in 10/15 mins by filling it with tap water & purifying on demand? This way you could also fill up at any location.

im not spending any time filling my tank . i park up hook the hose up and leave it , the van never has to move until i go to work , i have a car . i suppose theres not much in it which way you do it , its just down to what we are all used to . i think we should both agree to disagree ;D
