Title: Temple cleaning
Post by: murky on January 21, 2011, 10:56:51 am
Hi guys,
Following on from a previous topic where things were going quiet and the diary is looking a bit bare I was on the way back from a quote and thinking about cold calling etc and went past a local sikh temple and thought what the heck you can only ask so in I went.

I took my shoes off as the sign said but missed the one about wearing head wear! you have to wear a bandana type thing.

Long story short, I met the head of the Temple yesterday and I have been asked to quote.  See, there is work out there!

Measured up 550 sq mtrs of it and 3 rubber backed runners in the canteen of 3o x 1m, so a total of 650 sq mtrs roughly. Dreaded BW of course in the main Temple. Never been done in 8 years at least, though it is vacced 3 times a week, its not looking dirty, though needs doing, I suppose with all those people walking with bare feet oils must go on it.

How would you do it, I have a TM and 2 rotary machines, 1 is a big heavy old Servicemaster 19"and a standard victor. I do hotel entrances and conference rooms etc with Bonnet Buff but have been interested in Rotobrite 2.

And of course  a price, I am reluctant to go over 1k as they are a registered charity, but I reckon it will take 2 of us 2 days and there is a lot of walking around with water, spraying and evrything.

Any ideas?

Murky

Had this recently with rspca, quoted for 10 shops/centres, went in slightly higher than my usual price then offered 15% back towards there charity. The loved that idea and immediately accepted my quote. Everyone was happy.
