Title: marketing at car boot sale ???
Post by: creighton foyle on January 20, 2011, 08:28:03 pm
thought i might set up at the local boot sale (very busy one) pull all my equipment out of the van, get a couple of signwritten a boards saying what i do (would be obvious really)and just talk to anyone who will listen, hand out some leaflets and hopefully drum up a bit of interest . maybe prospective clients will feel more inclined to come over and have a chat in such an informal setting what do you think ?

i was gonna do one of the big outdoor shows, get a big board and carpet it, then let all the people walk over it with a time when it will be cleaned, big muddy field, dirty filthy carpet, prespray it maybe a genny so i can enviro it for show, and then hit it with 600 psi, its fresh mud so it will fly out, jobs a good en, custies would be biting my hand off for a quote, but i'm doing all right so no need.

I think you want to do one this Sunday. That's the best advice. Not saying it will work mind.

That in the Ashbys Marketing Course not car Boot sales but Village Fetes and School Events

Just set up outside a classroom (supply of Electric) non truckmounters and ask people to bring a small rug to be cleaned for donation to school funds
