Good afternoon.
I operate an external building cleaning and restoration company. We are not big, but we are busy, how long projects continue to be delivered in the current economic climate I don’t know. We work throughout the UK, which can be a bit of a pain, but I have children to feed and need to keep our clients happy.
We have a number of specialist skills within the company for listed building work, but for modern building cleaning we feel we can potentially work with other like minded professional people to help undertake such projects quicker, ultimately helping each other.
We have 2 choices: 1, to employ more people or 2, to sub-contract to other small companies who currently undertake such work or who wish to learn and undertake a bit more training to enable them to complete different types of work.
We have elected the sub-contract route and are looking for small companies ideally with experience of external building cleaning, holding current IPAF licences and with some experience of high level cleaning who we can possibly work with regionally. Or if they wish to travel and it’s cost-effective, to work across regions. We have equipment, so sometimes it's just labour we are looking for, but we want to build relationships with like minded, self-employed people who take pride in what they do.
