I had second thoughts before - and for about 3 months after.  It took a while to start coming together.

buying a wfp system don't make it a hazard free job you could trip on the wfp hose and break your neck or arm  ::)

i was trad for years always thought wfp was rubbish no way it can work ect went to help a windy pal of mine who was wfp after a week with him i was on the phone ordering the gear i will never go back to trad ever wfp is better the only draw back is they stay cleaner longer as no sticky substance on glass for dust to stick too so custys tend to go 8 weekly

The outlay is just the start  .... steep learning curve starts after u got your equipment oh and the spending as well BUT you only have the 1 neck so just go for it  ;D

Second thoughts yes but the inner feeling told me that after 25 years trad it was the right thing to do, after 16 months wfp i am loving my job big time , sure the were days at the start where i felt like i could chuck it and go back but these are in the past, pretty steep learning curve but once it becomes the norm in my opinion it's the only way to clean windows.  ;D

I had second thoughts and third,fourth,fifth!! ;) ;D ;D ;D

9 months now and im mostly wfp with a bit of trad here and there mainly on ground floor work.never go back to ladders now!!

WFP is miles better and easier and safer!the only problem im finding now is that the windows stay clean for far too long!!so effectively im cleaning virtually clean windows all day every day(most of my round is 4 weekly).

it takes a while to get into it and you ll spend a lot more than a grand i bet when you get going!im looking forward to the spring and summer and i have picked up a fair bit of work BECAUSE I USE WFP!!

best single thing ive done for my business ever! ;D ;D ;D ;D

i was sick of ladders, last straw was when brother in law fell off,it was wfp or nothing,i think i lost 2,so was great, however be prepard to loose a few not so much cos of the new method, more cos u clean it faster some custys think u cant be doing a good job oh and the odd window might leave a little bead therefor they find the reason.

i have the pure freedom trolley but mines the  50L version which im so glad i got instead of the 25L as id be forever changing barrels!! ;D ;D

i also have the 22ft clx.good choice mate you wont be disappointed!

you ll need some extension hose for your trolley.i use 30m of  5-lite streamline that goes on 10m of hose that i got when i bought the trolley giving me 40m which keeps me from having to move the trolley as often!

good luck with it mate!itll be like xmas all over again when you get your stuff!but i must stress!some days will be a nightmare until you  relearn your round and most windows will take 3 or 4 cleans to become "wfp friendly".

I bought a 250lt Diy unit from pure freedom, just over £800. Just finished my catch up work from Xmas today ( trad ). Will be setting my wfp pole up next week for my first week starting the following week. I happened to bump into a guy using wfp pole the other week , had a good talk to him whilst he was cleaning, couldn't believe the amount of time it took him to clean 1 house. Still nervouse about it tho

I never had any doubts about going wfp, but I never used forums then. I spent about ten minutes with my brother who cleaned one window so I just went for it. I looked at the simplicity of and thought that's the future.

Then I had loads of doubts and found the forums that sorted all that out, but to be honest I had sorted most problems before I found the forums ;)

why go up a ladder when you dont need to?i do on the odd occasion but not 100+ times a day like i did for 16 years!!

trust me its miles better using wfp once you ve cleaned your round 3 or 4 times. ;) ;D ;D

i think if you are light in weight climbing a ladder is the same as walking along the ground. its only if you are big it gets daunting. thats been my experience since losing5 stones last year .

what swung the decision for me was the day I turned up to trad a house at exactly same time wfp windie arrived to clean neighbours house he was done and finished before I had done 2 upstairs windows ... quicker ... safer and more profitable and I think it does a better clean so long as u rinse correctly .... other advice is to take time out to explain system properley to customers before u clean their windows (if their at home) ... converted all mine over and apart from a few minor moans this week all seems to be ok
