After trying one out today and continually undoing the 1st clamp and pulling the head off as I'm use too this as the 1st section, how many of you do this, Ive got
2 slx at the min and about too get a 3rd but I think i will continue too pull the head off the new one, I think that if the 1st clamp faced the opposite way too the others this would eliminate the problem.

Gardiners could change the colour of the clamp, maybe to red??
Or you could take the clamp off and spray paint it a diff colour as a quick fix to your problem??
Thats just my stupid idea lol ;D

Thank you for the idea - Perhaps just a different colour lever would suffice.

You will find that after another day or so of use it becomes automatic to leave the top clamp alone.

gardiners been meaning to ring you but rushed off my feet
im having a problem with taps that i get the lads have changed three recently because they seem to leak water from the red tap?????
i used one of them today and it was newish and for some reason it leaked out when tap was on
is there a problem with them?

I use them and I've just turned the top section around so the clamp is underneath. No problems so far!

Where's the water come from Ronald, the valve itself or where the pipe goes into the fitting?
