Hello Guys,
Just been out with the new van today with around 600 ltrs of water in a new flat tank, it's fitted between the arches and strapped down securely.
Not sure if I'm imaging things, but I get the feeling that the van water is sloshing around, although i can't hear anything and effecting the drive of the van :-\ Feels like it's hesitating. Vans only done 225 miles.
The tank is baffled, although this doesn't appears to anywhere near effective as the tank Brodex fitted some years ago...
Maybe I'm loosing the plot ;)

Which way round have you fitted it?
Are the baffles long ways or across the van?

Long ways.... Yeah I was just looking at it before and wondering if that was it....
I wanted it that way for ease of use, but looks like I may have to rip it all out and start again :(

i have mine long way this will stop the van toppling but will effect the breaking distance

Turn it round if your having troubles, baffles going long ways aint doing much in forwards motion but with them sideways theyll help with the sloshing of the water when driving and stopping etc ;)

they only work to a degree...they cant work 4 ways..... i would make sure that the baffles prevent the water moving side to side , on bends and roundabouts, ... as it will kick hell out of your van... suspension, tyres etc.

Cheers guys, I'd prefer to have the baffles stopping the sideways movement, My old tank is full of drain pipe, jammed solid and i never experienced anything, i was going to stick them in, but they wont fit
I've mailed the tank supplier to see if they can offer any solutions... Thinking of land drain pipe coiled inside at the mo, but will wait until i here back from them.
