Hi There
Hoping to start some power-washing work in the spring for the first time.
Is there a standard cost, eg £ per square metre?

This is true.
There are many variables to consider. Type of surface, level of grime, run-off, access, water supply etc.
Best thging is to do a couple of dummy runs, time yourself and make a record of issues faced and how you dealt with these.
You'll think of everything, then on your first proper job realise that you haven't thought of everything ???

The time taken is only a small part of costings, You'll also need to know PL costs, van ins, running costs, advertising, ppe, etc, etc. To get these you will need to estimate how many jobs you think you will get during a year once your up and running. How much do you need to earn ? Never undercut by anything more than a few pence, think like a big firm else you will not be able to expand.
Rough guide for small domestics - £2/m slabs, £3.50 to clean and sand block paving and adjust these prices depending on the factor mentioned in the previous post.
You will also need to consider you motivation which also reflects your costs.

If you charge by the sq metre you could spend 4 hours on a rough job and one hour on an easy job for the same money.I used to work out how long a job would roughly take and charge £40-£50 an hour.
