Title: Dog wee

Really struggled with some dog wee stains today.
They were old stains on a synthetic carpet.
Any tips for such stains?

Just seen this,anyone used it?

pro chems urine neautraliser works well most of the time,if its been in the carpet a long time it may not have the desired effect

Staining.I tried some Urine Neut and nothing happened.I then tried a tip that someone else told me about mixing FF with boiling water 50/50 and put that on the stains.Left on for 20 minutes and rinsed but they didnt budge at all.

If its a pale carpet you could try mixing some Prochem oxybrite with foam shampoo and working it into the affected area. This will create a bleaching effect.

You could try EcoPet Odour & stain remover from Ecodor (http://www.ecodor.co.uk).
I used it for cat wee stains from our cat and that worked great.

prochem oxibrite/fibrebuff/fabric shampoo solution. speak to prochem technical for dilution rates.

If its an old stain dont waste too much time with it you will have limited success but may lighten the area around it which if its an awkward customer may become your problem.
Many variables- initially pee is acidic then changes to ammonia (alkaline) over time chemically 'burning' the fibres/ dyes. This stain wont just flush out its not soluble , it will need either reducing agent ie sodium metasulphite stuff ( as mentioned sray & go ) etc or oxy agent ( peroxide based ) spotter.
Knowing when to try , what to try , how much to try & when to say no comes with time & experience.

I was going to say you could claim 20% affiliate fee but I then checked and noticed you have a review web site already

But thanks for information as it appears to be a company reasonably local to me
