I used to use a 60psi flojet with a 100m hose and used an elctronic flow contoller set around 1/3 or just under.

Is your battery well charged?

You shouldn't be having problems with it!
What's the bore?
Remember the thinner the bore (internal) and the longer the distance of hose = more back pressure

If using a shurflo it maybe the pressure switch (mine went after a year!)
Also if using a varistream with a shurflo you should by-pass the pressure switch anyway!

If you still have problems ring Williamson pumps (www.williamson-shop.co.uk)

is it a 60psi sureflow, you may just need to adjust the pressure switch

The only difference between a 60 psi Surflo pump and 100 psi pump is the pressure switch, as has been said above you disconnect the pressure switch if a Varistream is fitted, once this has been done they are one and the same pump.
Caution, with the Varistream set to maximum cut off, that pump will go up to a whopping, connector blowing 130psi.

That would explain a few things in the past ::)
I've had a few blow off's in the van (connectors, nothing else) ;D
Thanks for that ;)
