Was it clearly signed?
If it was then as you have probably know now... not a leg to stand on!
These people are nothing more than thieves though :(
-
Despise traffic wardens around Torquay. Sneaky buggers are so quick. £70 a time. Rather park on double yellows than park in parking bays.
-
Life is one long learning curve.
-

?
35 pound i thought, over the 14 days then it doubles..

More gansters operate here in the U.K than South America

well ive never had a nasty letter or any correspondance after, although nowadays councils are really desperate for money

They don't all carry cameras dude. Well not yet. I agree with the comment made before. Dont argue the toss. Get in ya van, politely wish TW a good day and bugger off quick sharp. PS much more waiting 2 or 3 minutes for a page to load and I'm so gone from this site. Sort it out mods.

it was a private clamping company that told me, so maybe the rules could be differant for councils and private land clamping companies
-
They take a photo nowadays because I disputed the last one I got so they sent the proof by email pdf attachment with their letter.
-
Monkeyboy950 where did you get clamped mate and what was the company called? Was the release fee £180?

oh ok i thought it was on a private car park. No offence mate but you must have been parked pretty stupidly or blocking an entrance or exit to something because they dont normaly like towing them away. Please let me know if i was right or wrong pal
