I have the clx 18' with the dual trim non flocked brush, my daughter uses this all day long and loves it. I still use the xtel hybrid 25' or so with the same brush which seems a bit stiffer than the clx but that may just be the different lengths, when I next upgrade this one it will be with a clx 22' (the 18' is a bit short for across some cons). I love the shorter closed length of the clx. If there isn't a lot of diff in price I would definitely go with the clx (Brush choice I think is personal pref. I have the flocked gardiners which I don't really get on with) and used an old vikan (which I hadn't used for months) on a first clean the other day and loved it, but still think for all day maintenance cleans the gardiners are best

22 clx with the Super-Lite® Xtreme™ brush.
Very very light and is all you need for domestics.

I got a clx 22 and then got the extra section to make it the clx27 as i struggled for a bit extra length more than occasionally with awkward dormers and velux skylights etc. Mainly its used at shorter length and so i dont use the flimsiest top end section much, extending the section below it instead.Still trialling brushes but havn`t taken off the supalite dual trim 15 degree splay(its black, would prefer white) since i started using it.

I would say a 25ft carbon fibre pole
unless you like changing poles more often
Aerial brush without doubt the best brush ever made for window cleaning
it has a double edge scraper that does come in handy
and it can clean sills, making it the only light weight sill brush
go on their site promotional page for offers
£39 get the brush/scraper
£6 get the angle crank and short extension
http://www.wfp-brush.co.uk/promotions
all for about the same price the cheaper made gardiners brush
which arnt better than a vikan :P
