Can't seem to do the maths... been a long day.
I have been reading about mixing Power Burst :
For injection sprayer, mix 45ml (3 measure scoops) of S789 per litre of hot water in the sprayer container. My new injection sprayer mixes at 4,8,16,32 and 64:1, so how many scoops of powder and at what mixing ratio?
-
Im pretty sure thats based on 8-1 at 3 scoops / litre.
-
Thanks for your help. Just been on Prochem website and the injection sprayer they sell is a 1:9 so perhaps it is based on that?
-
3 scoops per litre for hydraforce, 1 scoop per litre for direct pre spray.
-
right easy peasy if you have been mixing up to use in pump up sprayer use 8 times as much pb if th hydraforce is set to 8-1
-
Good stuff isn't it!
-
45ml per litre is 22.2 to 1. 1000 divided by 45.

That would be 8 scoops pet litre. That can't be right

2 ph is 100 times more than 1 ph so how can what you said be correct

First of all I'd ditch the variable dilution hydroforce because the mechanism is so primitive you haven't got a clue what ratio it's actually diluting at ;)
I put 12 heaped scoops in a 4 litre container, which I think is about standard.
I have never been able to work out why they recommend different dilution rates for pressure spray/hydroforce ???
Recommended dilution works out at 3 scoops per litre in a hydroforce container. That mix is then further diluted at 1:9, so it works out you have got 1 scoop in every 27 litres of solution that comes out.
So why does it need to be 27 times stronger from a pressure sprayer? ??? ???
All I can say is that when I use it, it does the job :)

I put three scoops paul moss style, always test when more than one colour. but what i have been doing is adding two oxibrite as well. you need to boil kettel to activate it and its been fantastic.
did a job yesterday with dog mess all over came out easy and carpet looked new. surprised myself. ;D

Adding the oxybrite to power burst is amazing for presraying polyprop carpets. Been doing this for a while now with amazing results
-
so hows it done ?
-
Yes, how much oxybrite do you mix with PB and what's the result, brighter carpets?
-
exactly as it says on the label "you put one scoop in per wash" ;D
