I was asked to clean some old fashioned double glazed units today the insides. What a waste of energy.
They are the ones that slot into two grooves. Big ones were ok but in kitchen there was one window with two sections that was a right pain to get back into place. I think I must of lost a stone in sweat.
Anyone else done any?

they are hard work but the secret is not to mix them up,and put them back exactly the same way,ie dont turn them or have them upside down
Indeed they are a nuisance - especially if they are a tight fit.
I've made mistakes pricing these before.  I don't now.
I think 2.5x the outside price was way too cheap.

i once did a five storey office block full of these they where very big windows and weighed a ton they where minging inside because they had never been done, we had to lift them place them upright on a scrim and clean both sides, we placed them on a scrim because they where that dirty any water squeeged down would have left a black line on carpeting, we then cleaned internal of outer glazing and lifted them back into place, we found that when lifting them in to wrap a scrim around our hand otherwise you left loads of fingerprints where you had lifted glass. There where desks and everything in the way it was a nightmare but money is money and it was character building ;D
