Try some of these, could be the answer only 12ish pound, skytech argon gloves, search google.

Daz, i searched for ages to find a decent glove, spent a shed load of money too, all were crap, Bought the showa , mines a 660 or something like that, cost under a fiver, very very pleased with them, been wearing them for 6 weeks now, no rips or tears, no wet hands, these gloves are awsome. Bought mine at cosco

showa 377 for me aswell tried most gloves sealskinz were worst right pile of crap! had my showas for about 3 months just starting to split great for all year round poling.found some on ebay bout 2.50 including delivery.got some waterproof sking gloves from lidl a couple of months ago for a fiver really warm if a tad bulky but ok to wear for a while when hands get really cold.
-
Jocka best in the world , and warm... supposed to keep warm down to minus 44...doubt that ,,, but my hands were warm and dry throughout the big freeze.
take out the thick fleece liners and wash them too...
the outer skin of the glove are like tarmac... tough and strong...
at first theywere a bit cumbersome , now they are soft and perfect....and a right good grip.
-
I got some jockas here, i bought em from omnipole about 7 weeks ago for £22.
Ive never worn them, there upstairs doing nothing, i tried em on when they arrived but found they were just too big and bulky for me
-
I use the Jokas when its minus figures and find them excellent if a little " granny" looking! as if i should have matching zip up granny boots as well :)
I use cheap black marigolds from screwfix if cold but not freezing, last about a month.

they do get soft after a couple of days... they are the best i have bought and no signs of wear.

good choice, ive used since cold snap started and still waterproof, dont keep hands massively warm but i dont like having hands too warm anyway as it slows me down! :)

I love the way Unger put a little pice of paper in with their gloves saying "not suitable for work" or words to that effect. Thats handy isnt it! :D
