Received a copy of the Facilities Management Journal through the post ( for those who don't know, facilities management companies are fairly new to the UK and are the people who manage the property maintenance, cleaning, etc, budgets for Institutions and Companies ) so they are really the people you want to get in with if you want to grow a Business and make real money.
They're similar to Property Management Companies but like to give the impression through slick marketing and seminars that they do more and actually save companies money !
On scanning the journal I found ONE cleaning company advert...............YES just ONE. As it happens that particular company had a turnover of £65,000,000 last year.
Wonder where they get their work from ;)
Don't think they use leaflets or small advert in shop windows or web sites that talk about super duper duper powerfull machines..............The business is there to be had,but have to be VISIBLE to the Service Buyer.

Cost is a major barrier for stand alone cleaners.
For example just one quarter page ad costs £650.00, half page £1000

After reading this thread we have contacted afew facility management companies and are now on there list of suppliers. All we did was search google for some then email them. Cost nothing.
