12v 8ah will last about 3day,s if you got regulator fitted make,s the trolly a lot lighter to lift in and out of van that,s what i use hope this help,s ;)

are you diying one?
if so just use the backpack or buy a pumpbox
john hewitt have a ksr80 which can be used for a trolley.

How much are the pump boxes? I can build a trolley for £100, but tgat is with a water bypass to control the flow instead of a controller. I want it as cheap a poss as it isn't really going to get used much

Pump boxes are about 180 however you can get the one from john hewitt 130 and includes battery and charger aswell as pump and controller

You can also use a 12 volt speed controller at a fraction of the cost of a Varistream.
