Post by: neil100 on September 27, 2005, 07:24:17 pm
ok i'm a newibe, done lots of reading up on wfp systems.i,ve been a succsufull w/cleaner since 1980.i'm fit as a butchers dog but want to keep my ageing bones in one piece so switching to wfp,and to make more money for less effort and risk.i can fill up with water from my sisters, tds water reading between 25 to 30.SHOULD I CONSIDER RO OR IS DI FINE?WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOUR AN EXPERINCED WFP?
I'M INVESTING BIG MONEY IN A NEW VAN?WOULD YOU GET 1.9D EXPERT,815KG PAYLOAD WITH 500 LTR TANK? OR PUG BOXER 2.0HDI,1145KG PAYLOAD, 800LTR TANK?
SHOULD I FIX TANK MYSELF OR GET ONE FIXED eg BRODEX?
THE BOXER HAS 2.510M FLOOR LENGTH,WOULD POLES FIT INSIDE THE VAN WITH GOOSEHEADS FITTED?
want to get things right first time.so let me benift from your experince or mistakes.cheers and thanks, nel

25-30  is a very low reading for tap water mine being 250-300 make sure yours is correct if so alarge di canister will be fine to polish down to 000 (your sister must live in cormall or lake district !

I've had an RO system for 7 years and it's still going!(ott now ionic) As for the size tank I'd get a 1000 litre now and the best poles you can. I did this and although I had too much capacity to start it's paid off in the long run as I've still got the same system, poles etc without needing to upgrade. It's very satisfying when it's all paid for and you don't need to buy anything else apart from consumables. Get the tank fitted professionally or you could be driving a death trap!
Hope all goes well
Rod

That data protection act? Do you install it between the tap and the storage tank or between the storage tank and the pump? ;D
