he said his son bought it and thought they could save money (it cost more than one clean he didnt seem to have faith in it) i told him i see him in a few weeks
any way i tried googling the item in question an found a forum of people who should have a window cleaner

jokes aside, I actually have one of these and keep it in the van, has come in handy a few times.
I bought it to clean the inside of a jewellery shop window that had fixed display cabinets only a couple of inches from the glass. This allowed me to clean both sides of glass from the outside, a bit fiddly to use but with some practice did an ok job and paid for itself as I priced the purchase of it into the job.
dont seem to work very well on leaded glass though :D

I have one,.. I pulled out the rubbish rubbers that come with it & glued in some unger soft which makes it work a lot better. Still rubbish though, & is only used where there is no other method of access.

they are really good for really big fish tanks lol ;D

Believe it or not, we used the industrial version of this product on a job that was too high for WFP and not viable to hire in powered access and it worked. It was a one off job from the start hence we haven't done it since. And the main thing is that we got paid.
Dean.

I think the bit about we havent done it since speaks volumes dean :)
