I brought a air conditioner unit for home and the accountant claimed for that too!! I wouldn't of even thought to claim for that.
Just got myself a ps3,wonder if he can claim for that too somehow!! ;D

if you got dogs you can claim for them and there food and insurance also you can claim for a home office if you use a spare room and get a percentage off your gas and electric talk to an accountant he'll save you a fortune

You could also try not paying your bill until the due date, that money is better in your account for an extra couple of weeks rather than theirs.
If everyone paid them early the interest differences would be huge..
Also always send them a cheque - never do a bacs transfer - that way you get more value for your money as they have to work and take it to the bank - thats my bit of extra satisfaction!!

Just bear in mind that YOU & ONLY YOU are responsible for your accounts & tax affairs/liabilities!
If you get an HMRC enquiry or worse, a full investigation, it's nothing to do with "your accountant", THEY have their backs covered as you sign this off.
I have a friend who ended up having to sell his own house through what started as a mistake by his accountant!
