Title: metal frame to hold truckmount over 400ltr tank
Post by: jsm on January 05, 2011, 10:07:53 pm: hu all , im looking to get a frame made to sit a Hydramaster spitfire onto , somthing like whats in the pic of woodbridge 's leaflet that has there truckmounts in , its got a promount 25 on a frame sitting over a plastic 400 ltr tank.

has anyone had one made ??
if so what did they pay ?? as i went to a metal work shop told him what i want and he gave me a quote of over £1000 ... lol

that was with it being powder coated - i think gold plated :o

the drive from north wales !!!! it would be cheaper to had over the £1000 :(

I could do it out of 304 stainless, it would never rust, probably at least half the price

I have a hydramaster maxx-d. Are you having the water tank, in the a frame with the t/m on top??

Post by: jsm on January 06, 2011, 04:26:23 pm: thats the sort of thing Andy , may have a stroke of luck , today while cleaning a guys windows i was talking to custy saying about it etc - his eyes lite up , he turns out in his working life to be a welder for Air products !!!

with that he was out in the back of van tape measure all over the place - telling me what i need .... so watch this space ... he's out in the shed as i type.... ;D
