Gents,
Hope this doesn't upset too many people. Please have a look at www.gleaminginsurance.co.uk - launched today. Please let me know if there are any things that could be improved.
Dear Mr Moderator, please don't ban me. This is an honest request for feedback. I am hoping to hear from Mr Boxall soon. on a proposal I have put to him.

driveway cleaners won't be happy ;)

Derek,
We can cover them too, I just havent got round to creating a section for them.
thanks for visiting though.

looks like a sneaky way to get free publicity for your company..... ask for 'opinions' ::) ::)
theres a company at the top who are paying to advertise their insurance company to members, you are trying to get it for free. not very fair on them.
we'll let mike decided if to allow your posts
-
I'll give you some feedback before this thread gets removed! ;D
Yeah, nice site, easy to find your way around and professional looking.
I like it.
-
If you were sneaky you would get someone to start a thread about insurance and then someone else say hey try these guys they are really good. As opposed to looking like a numptyber of a company.
I think the 'we are genuinely thinking of advertising on here in the future' has been done too. It's a bit like, clean this cheap and I promise you lots of nothing in the future ploy.
-
There's no two ways about it IMO If i was an admin i'd be showing you the ban hammer!

Thanks for the SPAM Mark.... tut tut ::)

Cheers lads, I understand your opinions. I have seriously emailed Mike though. I did advertise on the forum a few months back when I was working for another provider, I have since set up in business with a colleague. I am not trying to kid people, I am seriously interested to see if any members have any comments, good or bad.
I appreciate all your comments, sorry if I have caused any offence. If anyone does genuinely need advice in the future or a quote, please give us a go.

See thinking outside of the box... you could have gave a couple of the more active members on here a GOOD price on thier insurance if they added a link in there sig and recommended you once in a while ;) ;)
-
Link doesn't work!!!!!!!!!!

Fair does at least he's doing the humbled apologetic approach.
I think this forum has fairly raised it's game on the advertising front. You have probably noticed display ads following you around the internet. ;D
If you want to know what people think of you, check out the display ads you get on Facebook.... you sad perverts, or is that just me ;D

I have to laugh Ian. The irony is you might make some money out of this thread. ;D

Wynne
Sorry But I must be missing something?
-
Cant beleive the link has been allowed to stay up!! I should start spamming my sites too :)
Ian, i think Wynne thinks your link is an affiliate referer link. Why anyone would want to promote Amazon for a messily 2% commision is byond me!

this post is stilll here as mark has contacted the site owners and asked permision, his posting permission was suspended and the address altered until his situation was clarified.

It's a hefty old site with good information. It's not obvious whether they are a broker and will search for quotes or are reps for one company (so I guess likely). The quote form gets contact details only which is all you need. Long forms reduce uptake. I would personally make it even shorter but tracked from it's source for stats. It's more work for the Rep qualifying wise but will yield more leads.
Probably couldn't get more targeted than a banner advert on here.
