Got to do a large external clean for a custard, and suggested its best to do it on day-rate, as I felt that way we'd be able to offer him the quality of service he wants.
He *coughed* somewhat when asked what our day rate for 2 men was but accepted it graciously ;D

intresting this topic,
i dont personally think two men from one van if they are partners and split 50-50....are making any more money than a man on his own.... common sense really.
so the only way is to make a profit on an employee working with you.

still need two poles , two reels.... maybe a little saving sharing the van costs.
not worth shouting about though, ...
i can make more money on my own than working with anyone on a 50-50 split.
and if i earned more.... in a two man split........ then it would mean my parter is carrying me ,meaning he too could earn more alone.

More of a laugh with two, any time I go out on my own I find my self yapping away to old wifies.

only thing with two men doing twice as much work you are exposing yourself to twice as many customers so getting free advertising while making money.

which slows you down, thats why 2 men dont do double.... get your point, more enjoyable,but less dosh.
