happy new year fist of all, wright the problem is ive just got my first wfp just befor the bad weather so i aint had chance to get to know the thing any way ive tride to fathem out to set calibrate any way i set on fill but its going through the system and back out the drain port ive been round and made sure every thing is as it shuld be i got the system from pure freedom in november any help would be great as i aint got a clue think is down to operator error some how ???
-
Sounds like you have it on flush,on ours there's a round red numpty near the ro,turn it clock wise to shut it
-
hi thanks for reply triied that one its closed the controller ive got is digital one
-
I take it that you are aware that there should be a continous flow from the drain outlet.
Roughly for every 1 litre of Pure Water produced, up to 3 litres goes down the drain.
Just a thought......
-
Is there no water going into your tank? Mine is digi I press the arrow to start then press the right angle arrow to start it filling the tank
-
hi there is an amont of watere going into the tank ,so when you fill the tank via the fill port as you fill the tank you get a flow of water out of the drain port at the same time?? ???
-
you will always get waste water coming out, so long as somes going in it is working, you can usualy control how much waste and each sytem is differant, but the higher the waste out the longer it takes to fill tank, but you do need a decent flow to help your membraines last,
- where are you, as there may be someone local who could help
-
hi im cleckheaton the other question is when you test for purity do test stright from tank or from the brush jets
-
i mainly test from end hose before going onto brush
-
hi just tested the reading was 53 so i let it run then it droped to 9 its a new system never used it before. >:( was gonna be a new start tomorrow with it but looks like its gonna be tad
-
as its new best to let it run for a while, tds should come down
-
Think you need to have it on flush for a while, before you fill the tank
-
just let it flush for 20 mins tds still the same any ideas ???
-
If it's the first time you've flushed the system it needs to be done for at least 2 hrs, this is what pure freedom told me
-
to flush do you have to have it on fill with the flush valve open on the ro ?? its doing my head in dint get any basic operational bumff with system its just trial and error ???
-
Yes that's what you have to do mate
-
so i would have to draw water through the 8mm hose until water level is quite low then fill .id did this but not enogh it re filled be for the tds came down any moore
-
If you havn't got any instructions, I would phone up tomorrow and request some.
-
Don't get the 8mm hose bit,the size of hose to fill should be like a garden hose
-
just set up for normal use without the brush attached and drain with pump on high setting to pump out water
-
So you are draining tank? And flushing at the same time? When you flush there shouldn't be any water going into the tank
-
for new systems they have to be flushed for at least 2hrs then you should be ok
-
Yes and when you fit a new ro
-
Just a thought, is there any resin in the cartridge?
-
yes it was all ready for use it was partly filled tds was 0 i filled it up then tds was 53 partialy drained tds is now 6 but it sounds itmay need more flushing ??? i call pure freedom teusday
