Has anyone done this for new installations, if so what did you use any idea of effectiveness?
-
Solvent based protector.
-
Well yeah that's what I would use.
Anyone heard of Intec? was looking at it as seem to make out it's 'different' and for these types of things.
-
Intec was mentioned on an IICRC course the other week at the National Flood School. Both the trainer Adam and Mike from Host (who was attending) knew about it. I'm not sure why it's different though.

Wynne
get some carpet samples and protector and do some tests. video the test as you might be able to then use them for marketing.

I'm thinking it's just their branded solvent protector rather than something any different. :-\

Tricky one that, water based obvious problems, solvent has to be a light mist as it it can easily get to the latex in the backing and stretch......
good luck
-
I'm sure the amounts most retailer use won't affect the backing. ;)
