Title: My first LM commercial job!
Post by: Aquakleen Restoration Services on December 30, 2010, 09:01:46 pm
Hi all,

My brother and I have spent the last two days cleaning a school's carpets using the rotary start up package I purchased from Restormate. I purchased 2 bottles of Surround Ultra and some Rotobrite (which I never got to try). I also bought some extra heavy duty pads http://www.restormate.co.uk/epages/15094.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/15094/Products/9526

I have to say I am well impressed with this system!

I think this is definitely an art form and will need practice and experimentation but once you get used to the rotary it is a doddle. I had my brother vac the whole place first as we went along. I sprayed the carpet lightly with a 30-1 mixture of Surround Ultra as well as soaking my pad and ringing out thoroughly. This is what John Kelly taught me to do and it really is as simple as that!

The worst room was the staff room, the carpet of which was covered in coffee spillages. After I cleaned it the carpet looked fantastic! Almost like new! There were some stubborn stains I could not remove but had my brother follow me with a Hippo spotter and managed to remove almost all the problems!!

After I cleaned each room I checked to see how damp they were and to be honest they were almost bone dry!!

My only negative would be the swirling marks on the carpet caused by the pad but I presume these could be removed my a pile brush (which I forgot to take with me - twice). Would i be right anyone?

So to sum up extremely happy adding this cleaning system to my arsenal and I would recommend Restormate's rotary start up package it is the business!

John
