Title: holidays what do you do with your work
Post by: erithwc on December 30, 2010, 05:16:53 pm: im a one man band doing domestic only no commercial work and im going to take 2 weeks in the summer and 2 weeks at xmas but my question is what do you do, just tell the customers that the next clean will be two weeks late due to holidays ???

plus are the customer ok with it or do they get funny about it ???

I wouldn't worry, i use to, but most custies, don't even know if your early or late.

You get the odd one "i thought you'd given up!" after about 5 years they stop saying this.

I've stopped appoligizing for being late; as you get some "oh that's alright i'd rather have it done less often" :(

Start where you left off when you get back. Simples.

Post by: Klean07 on December 30, 2010, 07:19:50 pm: I always try and double up when I go away for eg I went to Majorca on 14th Aug for 10 days. So before I went I did 3 weeks work in two weeks which left me 4 days to complete my last week when I got home. Simple.
