Most aniline topcoating are damaged by body grease and need to be re-topcoated as shown in these pictures. Aniline topcoats come in natural, matte and in this case it is using the gloss.

Degreasing from within the leather structure is best accomplished with a pH 2.2 degreaser that also helps control bleeding.
