What should I be paying for one?
Are there any companies that hire them?
And, do you need training? I imagine not ... ?

Hey Joe, do you mean how much for the gear? You can pay anything from £250 upwards depending on quality. No training really required but lots of common sense. I did a three story victorian house two weeks ago and used a camera to see where it needed cleaning {v smart because it was nearly completely clear} but then didn't wear my hard hat when vac was up and a large peice of slate came down and missed me by inches. nearly hit me in my gormless face peering up in the gloom {not very smart}. Where abouts are you?

I'm in B'ham - I never even considered wearing a safety hat.
Starting up in 2010 - nearly got everything.
That really would of hurt btw!

no kidding, I felt like a right git too as it was getting quite dark and I didn't even see it on the end of the vac, just a big crash as it hit the ground next to me.
