No for me.

Though if I was behind I'd be tempted to.

Got to earn to pay your bills at the end of the day.

Its my first Christmas on the windows. does anyone work this week?

I intend to do 29th to 31st - possibly with later starts as many are on holiday.
I have a commercial job due first weekend of the month so will do that too between 1st and 3rd (only a couple of hours at most).
I know my turnover target for this month and intend to hit it.  Obviously it's been revised downwards since 1/12 and will be well below what I would normally expect to turn over but would still be pretty good going considering the recent weather.

I'll do the shops tomorrow, but as far as domestic goes the rest of the week I'll be picking and choosing.

I don't think some people want bothering, so I'll be doing the people who live on there own or always seem pleased to see me.

Never worked this week but because I lost a few days last week I will be going tomorrow and doing a few. But will be doing what Squeeky will be doing. Choosing the right ones to do. I've just put everything back in van and checked everythings working ok so roll on tomorrow!! Btw our bins were collected today and also seen two scrapmen in street. Chrimbo is over for me.

Been out today and done domestics. Customers happy to see me and still tipping, roads are dead and the work I did today was around a station normally making parking hard but today the roads were like a ghost town.  The sun wasn't out and we had a little rain but the temperatures are so warm compared to last week.

Simon.

It's not a holiday, or a bank holiday so I'm working, especially with all the bad weather we had, I'm taking no chances.

Ps. I really would encourage people just to get on with it and stop worrying about customer this and that. Good customers will always be happy to see you. If not, you shouldn't be bothered about it too much, I do a top notch job and they can be lucky they've got such a reliable window cleaner. The not today brigade get replaced very quickly. It might sound a bit harsh and I am quite relaxed towards customers needs, but some of them just really push it. We offer a year round service. Not a call when you want them service, or the "oh, it's not really worth it" cleaning cycle or whatever excuse they might make.

Bread on the table, my income, my work, my business. :)

YEP! I have a full day tomorrow all already pre-booked. Snow is gone and I am looking at hitting my 5-7 day backlog with a vengance. Onwards and upwards!

When the going gets tough the tough get going. This is not a job for the faint hearted wusses hiding in their houses. get yourslves sorted.

Not earned anything spectacular but just starting houses at 10 or later and plodding along.  Still well worth doing though.

I go pretty close to it, but not into it. Used to do a few there. Wouldn't mind some in a new area if you've something in mind though...
