ive only went out 3 days last week and earned a grand.i cant wait to get round and clean my round up to date.ive messed around a lot this year i get into a good routine with the round then start thinking how boring it is and hit a wall with it and cant get my head round it sometimes it takes me a week(no good)ive accumilated a bit of debt through this happening but ive residedmyself this year to hit it hard get a good routine going and start saving.ive got the work there its the head that goes.ive been window cleaning for 3 yrs with wfp i had a building buisiness before that that was very good had 10 blokes working for me but could see a downturn coming so i set up a round.i put a lot of money into this and have got to make it work ive got 4 kids to look after.does any one else suffer with the window cleaning blues?i was right in setting this up because theres no building work about.

I had a Struggling business before i started window cleaning over 5 years ago, i can now go out and earn decent money most days, thats all the motivation i need! I dont get fed up with doing this, i sometimes get bored, but oce ive done the first one in the morning and im sorted. Be happy youre earning mate!

i know your right there the buisiness has so many plus points no pressure good money you can leave your phone on at night(i certainly couldnt do that before with blokes working there is always problems)its taking me a while to get used to it but as you say once you do the 1st its ok.i suppose the trick is to get out early and not think too much.i know a lot of window cleaners that have done extremally well out of this game.

Wow...you earned a grand in 3 days,only been doing the job for 3 years,had a building company employing 10 blokes.....and you're in debt...

Interesting post.
I have a building company and sick of companies not paying and trying to chase after surveyors. Work my nuts off crack of dawn till late at night 7 days a week.
Starting a small round myself and found it cured my insanity. People pay, people talk to you like a human, to be honest it neats carrying concrete blocks all day long.
Going to start up with a system WFP not used it before and its Hot which seems good from what I read on here.
Looking forward to winding down the building business and while the WC grows just do small works etc hopefully it would be good to do both.
This forum has been brilliant for advice and I have been reading hundreds of posts a day on here.
If I could earn a grand a week working on my own I would be well chuffed as not earned that kind of money in a few years and had more than 10 blokes.

Can you break that grand down a bit and help me see how to be aiming for the type of work that produces serious income like that?
