Title: A Christmas Tale
Post by: Londoner on December 25, 2010, 11:06:44 pm
The snow had just started falling again as Tony, the widow cleaner, got to the last house on Chritmas Eve to collect his money. The light was fading and the wind was bitter again.

Arriving at the last house at the bottom of a cul de sac his heart was heavy. Since his wife Julie had left and taken the kids Christmas was just not the same. Tomorrow he would be spending it alone in his little bedsit watching rubbish on the little portable TV.

He rang the bell to have it answered by an attractive woman in a revealing neligee. "Come in" she said "I have a suprise for you"

Pouring him a drink she took him upstairs for the best two hours of Tony's life. Finally, totally exhausted he lay back on the bed and finished off the drink, untouched on the side.

"Did you like your little suprise?" she said smiling "It was my husband's idea"

"your husband's idea???" he asked incredulous

"yes" she said. "when he was going out to work this morning I said The window cleaner is coming today. Shall I give him a ten pound tip?"

He said "TEN POUNDS? do you think we are made of money? Nah F**K him!"

"so I did, was it better than a tip?"
