Anyone use them? What are the dyes like if you decide to have your carpets cleaned? Are the dyes easily removed after HWE? I really like the product but wouldn't like to tell a customer the dyes aren't permanent!

Been using them for about 18 months they are just wax crayons, you set them with heat.
I use ones from Amazon but Crayola are just as good I believe Paul Pearce uses them.

Are they the same as in this video?

There is no mention of how to set the dyes. I emailed the guy and he replied but didn't really give a straight answer only saying they were 'semi permanent'.

Same or simular couldn't really tell you apart from that $200 is a lot for crayons, I spent £14 I think and they work, hair drier, comb and POG required, heat crayon up draw on carpet comb in to get even distribution if you don't like what you see POG it and start again when happy heat up with hair drier and it seals it BUT it does take practice.

Will these crayons work on hard flooring then apply a seal?

IMO Cleaning is one thing restoration as a add on should work well.
Example: mrs jones wants the floor cleaned she gets the usual 2 or 3 quotes
3rd quote is len who offers to fill the small hole by the door. for a few ££ more.
who will she choose?
