You have a very good asset to your biz there mate. Look after people like that.

Yeah he is a good bloke.
If i get any problems i would always ring the customer up and see why she turned us away. If she said she just didn't want it done she would of been sacked off anyways.
I think you are only dealing with a real minority here. most customers are not like that thank god

STEVE UK you are very lucky to have this guy......congrats mate...its so pleasing to hear a story like this as when my father had 3 vans bak in '99 the lads used to drop the vans of at his house of an evening give him the days work list and say for example Mrs Roberts from walthew avenue said leave it this time and this was happening all to often and my father smelt a few rats lurkin about any way he bumped in to mrs Roberts in Tesco and asked if she was happy with the work the lads had been doing as she had never refused in the past " i didnt refuse paul i paid the lads there and then"
it doesnt take a a rocket scientist to work they had been pocketing the money
STEVE UK im gladd you have the confidence in your lads mate nice one ;)

trouble is some custies will try something on, without following every one it can be difficult, a couple of things my dad had was - lad cleaned windows and dad went to collect but she said that wasntpaying as lad broke paving slab, quite odd then dad pointed out that it was broken before we sarted cleaning them 2 years earlier ;D, another had ups one clean then all next clean, when it was all she said he hadnt done them lad said he had, this happened twice on the third time dad watched lad vclean every window without him knowing, collected later as usual but same answer, he said he had seen him doing them and she now owes 3 cleans to dad and an apology to lad for having a telling off, tried to explain to her she could get someone the sack for missing work,

I've not had that but I have had customers wanting me to work for them direct - even though I was doing the work subcontracted from someone else. I didn't of course.
