An L5 water heater will keep blowing out even if you sneeze on it,it`s designed to be used as an outside shower in a confined space with ventilation above it.If you leave your van door-doors open when you use it which you should it will keep blowing out, been ther done that got a proper heater know.

Well this is my second winter with one and it does Not keep blowing out for me. Maybe it's where and how you have it in the van lol.Maybe shut one door and have the front windows slightly open to stop condensation and co2 building up.

the two good days i used it ,i never had a problem with the flames blowing out.My problem is it wont light ,its as though no gas is getting into the chamber.Worked fine yesterday morning,Finished one job turned the pump off ,l5 shut down then moved onto another job 15mins later .turned on the pump the l5 sparked but wouldnt ignite.Checked the gas (half full)kept trying but gave up in the end.Never changed any of the flow settings on pump,l5 or bottle.Tried today again still the same.Going to try another regulator on it.I have an adjustable flow one(might be throwing to much gas in it or not enough)Well cheesed off

hehehe...

the power of advertising !  i'm sure you could use it outside as long as its not windy.

bye the bye ( and not having a pop here )   how many w/c websites have you seen where
people show a chap working with poles and equipment that they don't have - or borrowed a photo
of a conny roof clean ?

i'm sure it wil be a simple fix - if Matt cant help then i'm sure Nat will  or pop on the ACS forum

::) On ecotemp website they show one hanging from a tree so that cant be strictly true

That`s a bit extreme  :o.
Ok, they maybe unreliable but to hang one; that`s going too far.

Had mine for three days. Mounted on back door of my Expert van,  works great. Obviously I am no specialist.

On my one the gas pipe from the regulator i then have a split fitting that i can split the gas pipe when not connected to the LPG bottle then the end that fits to the L5.
Several times i have splitt the pipe as it would not fire up, maybe some type of air block  ???
The thing is once i have splitt the main pipe (not conected) and then fired up for a few secs then turned off and all put together again it will work fine.
This only happens once or twice per a LPG bottle but does happen to me.
I had this splitt fitting put on in case i had to change the regulator and didn't want to be messing about taking the end fitting off the L5.
I had this all done at a LPG gas shop.

just turned mine on this morning and it took 8 mins to get warm water to the brush. iam thinking about chopping 50m of one of my reels. as a lot of heat is lost as the water travels down the hose, it should get warmer water to the brush quicker
