Title: van lagging

has anyone done this , i might give it ago over the christmas break ,
do i use the stuff they put in lofts .

i lagged my van with celotex on the roof and the metal window cut outs stuck it on with no nails.
it all fell off after about 3wk
 luckly behind the boarding on the sides i put rockwool and thats bn fine.

can you feel the diffrence, does it stop the frost

id love to say yes its brill
but it aint i jst put a fan heater in over night to stop it freezing up
and its ok insulatiung the van but the minute you open the doors into the back all the heat disapears so no point realy

i got one of those oil heaters from argos running day and night at the moment

insulate yr van m8
then throw away
oil filled rad buy a propex heater
no more frozen van , reels , pumps
poles tank easy might cost you
400 quid but when things break due
to being frozen it makes sense  ;)

 but once you have insulated van
brought yr propex yes no more problems
no more knackered pumps di s etc
if we lived in tenerife we wud all be happy
but we dont we live in the uk
so make yr van as hot as poss
simples !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
