Title: ANY ELECTRICIANS

iv been having new unit fiited out with new office all stud walled and plastered etc, got a mate round to wire up new wire behind stud wall from the main box, about 5 double plug sockets, light switch and some strip lights hes trying to bill me £25 per item comin around £175 is this expensive, seems it to me it is a foreigner like

doesnt matter if its a foreigner or not,  if it balls up he up the creek

its not a bad price really,  u might need a receipt and pass sheet anyway

that price dont sound bad richy , it cost me £175 for a double outside socket
and 2 inside sockets to be done .

dear if hes a jobber . not a bad price if hes regd .mind u were lectrics ar concerned get the guy whos regd

thats ok really,think about plumbers they charge £80 labour if they took half hour do a job,going take him a few hour do that

maybe its fair then hes said he norm charges 35quid a unit gna moan anyway and say il giv ya 120 hes bumped me for money in the past thats all that i let go

I hope he hasn't wired that lot up on a spur.
Is he licensed to sign off his own work? God forbid, but if you had an electrical fire the insurance company would want to know.

thats a good price, i was charged 75 bucks to wire from the main box 50 ft down the grdn to the garage to put a double and a light switch, parts included...

if hes fitting all the sockets and other fittings its not that bad mate,if it was just wiring and a mate i would of said a bit over priced

firstly foriegner or not he should sign it off to cover himself and you for insurance purposes

secondly your paying for what he knows --not what hes doing!
