Title: l5 not working

Not a happy chappy,l5 was working ok this morning,then on our last job of the day.,it packed in wont ignite,i have plenty of propaine,waterflow etc any ideas anyone.Thanks Pdh

sure i read somewhere that the gas could be affected by temps under +5 ??

is there a cure?  i did drain the unit and have kept the van from freezing in the night

Hi ,I take mine in at night even though I have an heater in van at night not worth risking being knackerd. For what it is to disconnect it's been bad temps so don't take the risk ,cheers.

any news on your l5 suds,mine is still a no go ,tried it on and off all day.What regulator is eveyone using on the l5.I have a adjustable one ,which may be the problem.

Wrap gas bottle up yes freezing temps affect the gas,got my l5 on a quick relese board and pipes unclip gas bottle stays in van wit a fleese round it no probs at all

I could be wrong but, as far as I know regulators aren't adjustable. Its the mechanism inside that does the business and the nob that you are turning is just an on/off valve.

A few quick Questions.

Is there a good flow of water running through the L5.
Does the red light come on and spark.

If no red light then it's a gas issue .

plenty of water flow,Red light flashing ,gives out the chain of sparks. Its annoying how within a 15 minute interval with no changes made to any settings it decides to pack up.Scrap man comes round twice a week  :) :)
