i have been looking out for a good vacuum cleaner for a while now, ever since i got a cat really, got she malts! so i was looking online at normal vacs like these http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=vacuum+cleaner&hl=en&aq=f but then i stumbled across these robotic things http://www.twenga.co.uk/dir-Appliances,Vacuum-cleaners-and-accessories,Robot-vacuum-cleaner now i cant find anything about them on the internet... i dont know if i am just typing in the wrong thing but i wanted to know if anyone has ever used one or seen one in action? supposedly it uses sensors to navigate its way around a room...? but does it do this successfully? does it reach corners? does it have good suction? will it pick up the cat hairs? if not il go for normal but hey why not get a robotic one if it works, its every womans dream! a hoover robot!

forget it.

look for them on youtube, plenty people have written comments on how aweful they are. would be far cheaper to have a cleaner come in and do the whole house then buy one of these terrible inventions
-
Aren't they a bit spammy?

These vacs are meant to be used on a daily basis - you program it so it vacs when you're away and it switches itself on automatically and does a couple rooms at a time. Having that in mind it will keep your house clean as it vacs every day, where normally you would do it once a week. It has contra rotating brushes, so yes, it will lift the cat hair.
Good points: very quiet, simple programming, works when you're away, hoovers under the bed
Bad points: doesn't do stairs, won't hoover very tight corners (where it can't fit), small dust bin
It's best for bigger opened space rooms where there's not much things lying around.
I will be getting one as I have a cat too and just can't be bothered vacuuming the house all the time. But I wouldn't spend more than £200 on it, and Roomba seems to be the best of them.

Chris
