anyone know if you can connect a merlin to a di unit only, if so how does it work and the good points ect..

Yep - from my merlin through to di's

Advantage's - dont carry ro or di on van ( less weight - more room ) and fill up with pure from holding tank

could i have my fill hose going through the merlin then through to the di unit then throught to the tank??#

Yep you can - thats how i used to do it before getting 1000 ltr IBC's,

just buy an   6 mm to 12mm reducer ( £1.00 from garden centre ) so it goes into ro pipe and normal hose
then you can use standard connectors

as far as i know the Merlin comes in one size only   720 gallons a day
