Hi guys.
I've been backwards and forwards as to whether to get a water heating add on at all and have decided to take the plunge. Any thoughts/experience will be greatly appreciated.
I've narrowed it down to two:
- The Pure Freedom (5+k 1man diesel) system
- The Poseidon (lpg) system
The Pure Freedom system is ~ £2500 with a frost protection thermostat with fitting included. It runs off the diesel tank in the van but costs a bit more to run i think.
The Poseidon system is £637 with a frost protection thermostat + fitting and runs off a seperate lpg tank which will cost less then any diesel set up.
It's obvious which one wins the 'cheapest' catagory but i want something that is professianal, hassle free and reliable. Any advice/ideas gents?
Thanks... Tim

Poseiden is fitted with gas bottle had mine fitted yesterday
-
So you don't have to drive to a specific lpg gas station then? That saves some hassle. Thanks.
-
No you don't,It's well fitted, but I would say Purefreedom one would be more pro looking,at the end of the day we worked yesterday and out today, with cold system no chance
-
that's true. was there a fitting cost lyndy?
-
£100 fitted mine in nottingham
-
I just went for the cheap one without frost protection

no way! small world. hope you don't mind. i can delete if you like. you had any teething problems with it?
-
It's ok,you have to have it on a high flow rate before it will work, the water comes out really hot then gets cooler then really hot,I've got a 100 meter 8mm thick hose, think I may need shorter and 6mm hose, because I think the water cools done with the long hose

have you informed your insurer lindy? if so, what did they say?
i rang mine and she says she'll have to ring the insurance company itself to get an answer. she wasn't sure...
-
They said it was ok to have it fitted, with no charge, took them a week to get the answer thou
-
thanks. i hope mine don't take that long!
in the meantime can you let me know how you get on with it? either on this link or here's my email....

Heres my Hot system
Hi Steve.
Just got back from Grimsby after having my 9KW Isothermal fitted including the frost stat and two Flomasters.
Had a few teething problems with it today not the easiest piece of kit to operate, just wondering if you get a minute maybe I could call you with a couple of questions on how your using your water heater.
Any help would be great after a bit of a frustrating start to the day :)
